She has over 31 years of teaching experience and has been awarded the ?Best Teacher? award several times. She is a proud recipient of Best Educational Project Award in Advance Course in Medical Education from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, in 2018, STAR Faculty Award in 2020 from Saveetha Medical College, and Global Faculty Award in 2020 from AKS Education Awards. Dr Gunapriya is the Founder Member and Former President of the Society of Clinical Anatomists. She is also a member in National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), where she has contributed several video lectures for MBBS students?a central government initiative organized by IIT Madras. Dr Gunapriya has published several articles in national and international journals and is presently guiding the research projects of several undergraduates, postgraduates, and PhD scholars. She is a senior editorial board member and reviewer in many reputed journals.Jyoti Chopra, MBBS, MS, MHPE is a Professor in the Department of Anatomy at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and over 70 publications in national and international indexed journals. She has edited the KGMU Book of Clinical Cases in Medical Sciences, authored a Histology Practical Manual, and edited an Osteology, Gross and Cross-Sectional Anatomy Practical Drawing Book for undergraduate students. Dr Chopra is an honorary faculty member of the Medical Education Department at KGMU, which is also a National Medical Commission nodal/regional center. She served as a faculty in the Centre of Anatomy and Human Identification at the University of Dundee, Scotland (December 2024?December 2025). She has been the Controller of Examinations at KGMU. Dr Chopra has played a key role in curriculum planning and implementation, served on the Curriculum Committee, and was the Chief Coordinator of the Foundation Course. She has been instrumental in establishing the Cadaveric Skill Lab in the Department of Anatomy at KGMU.
